Luca is co-founder and CTO at Orobix, an engineering company focused on delivering AI-based solutions to businesses. He has a PhD in bioengineering and worked in biomedical research until 2009. Over the years he created or worked on numerous open source projects, both in image analysis research (vmtk, 3DSlicer, ITK) as well as in deep learning, being an early core contributor for PyTorch. Luca loves tinkering with Redis. He created RedisTF as an experiment in 2016, which has recently evolved into RedisAI.
