We are now, simply, Redis
To kick off the final month of 2019, some 65,000 cloud professionals will descend on Las Vegas for the industry event of the year, AWS re:Invent, a four-day extravaganza of keynote speakers, networking, learning, and training.
As always, Redis will have a big presence at re:Invent. This year, we’re all in on the theme of Growth Happens. As your company and database needs grow, Redis Enterprise offers the best options for running Redis—one of the most widely used databases in AWS and the most loved by developers everywhere. To signify our focus on sustainable growth, we’ll have green-themed offerings, like our exclusive “Growth Happens” t-shirts and tree-planting initiative.
More importantly, the Growth Happens theme will also resonate in our breakout session on Thursday afternoon, December 5, where top customers will share how they’re using Redis Enterprise for more than just caching. At our booth (#2637 in the Venetian), the “green” swag will be complemented with an ongoing series of on-site educational presentations, plus the chance for one-on-one conversations with Redis experts at our Genius Bar. But that’s only the beginning—don’t miss the Redis’ cocktail hour or our action-packed sumo wrestling event with Sumo Logic. And keep your eyes peeled for the new Redis billboards appearing around town during the show!
Learn about how customers like Gap and Alliance Data are using Redis Enterprise to grow their businesses during this one-hour session, moderated by Alvin Richards, our Chief Product Officer. We’ll discuss how to grow your use of Redis beyond caching and session management to business-critical applications like real-time inventory management.
Location: MGM, Level 1, Grand Ballroom 124
Date/time: Thursday, Dec. 5, 12:15 p.m. – 1:15 p.m.
You won’t be able to miss our booth (Venetian #2637)—we’re building a wall of greenery and featuring fast-growing plants to become an oasis in the trade-show desert. Be sure to enter our raffle for a sleek VanMoof electric bike, and pick up a limited-edition pin or socks. At our Genius Bar, Redis Geeks and customers like MGM Grand will be on hand to answer questions on anything and everything Redis. (Have a specific question? Make an appointment with a Redis sales rep at email@example.com).
We’re also hosting a series of educational sessions in our booth theater throughout the week with our Redis experts. As a bonus, attend a theater session and grab a “Growth Happens” t-shirt. Or get in the green spirit and have us plant a tree in your honor—we’ll match every tree donated.
Theater session topics include:

No trip to Vegas is complete without partying at a nightclub. Join us for the Sumo Logic Slam Jam at the Omnia Nightclub at Caesars Palace—hosted with Sumo Logic, PagerDuty, Cloudflare, McAfee and Hewlett Packard Enterprise—where you’ll get a chance to watch live Sumo wrestling, featuring our very own Redis-sponsored sumo wrestler. This exclusive event will bring you up close and personal with this exciting sport, complete with taiko drummers, geishas, and announcers.
Location: Omnia Nightclub at Caesars Palace
Date/time: Wednesday, Dec. 4, 8 p.m. – 11 p.m.
Note: You must have a full conference badge to attend the event.
Keep an eye out for Redis up in the sky. Throughout the week, our ads will be telling the Redis story on digital billboards in the airport, along the freeway, and on the Strip. If you spot one, take a photo and tag us with #GrowthHappens to be entered in our raffle to win that cool electric bike.
Don’t miss the Andy Jassy and Werner Vogels keynotes. AWS CEO Jassy talks on Tuesday, December 3 about the latest AWS products and services. On Thursday, December 4, the colorful Vogels, CTO of Amazon.com, will discuss technical infrastructure and how Amazon is focusing on architectural design.
We’re looking forward to these other re:Invent sessions throughout the week, including:
