Why would you love this job?

As a Backend Infrastructure developer, you will develop and maintain our Redis Enterprise cloud servers, used by more than 200K users. You will be responsible for building the new architecture of the Management Platform solution, researching new technologies, and integrating them into Redis platform.

Our ideal candidate is a strong individual with experience in large-scale web applications who has a strong orientation to Infrastructure and DevOps and has a passion for new technologies.

What you’ll do: 

  • Develop and maintain our management platform solution (with over 200k users and high scale)
  • Research new technologies and integrate them into Redis platform
  • Analyze and improve the performance and stability of our codebase
  • Migrate our platform into Micro Services architecture based on Kubernetes 
  • Impact on the new design and architecture with an emphasis on clean and highly efficient code
  • Guide and mentor your team members in DevOps related activities
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Support, and other R&D teams

What will you need to have? 

  • B.Sc. in Computer Science or Software Engineering
  • 4+ years of experience in Backend and DevOps design and development
  • Experience with Java, C#, Kotlin, Scala or Python
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, AWS, GCP, AZURE, ELK
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins pipelines, Git Hooks, GitOps
  • High coding standards and passion for new technologies 
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills

Extra great if you have: 

  • Experience with Large monolithic systems consisting of multiple components
  • Knowledge and experience in SQL-based databases
  • Hands-on experience with high traffic, high availability, and large-scale web server development
