We seek a Director of HR in Israel for a 9-month period as a cover for maternity leave. The position reports directly to the Chief People Officer and is a hybrid position (2-3 days a week in our Tel Aviv office).
As a senior member of our global HR team, you will be responsible for all aspects of HR for our Israeli teams, the majority of which are product and engineering. If you have strategical thinking but also take a “can-do” approach to challenges, with strong business acumen and the ability to manage multiple and competing priorities in a dynamic environment, your place is with us!

What you’ll do:
- Run a team of HRBPs, Employee Experience Specialists, and an Office Manager based in Israel.
- Provide strategic business partnerships and act as a trusted HR advisor to leaders and key stakeholders, mainly in Israel but also in the US and Europe.
- Build solid and ongoing relationships across all levels of the organization, up to C-Level.
Coach, guide, and consult with leaders on all people aspects in their business unit. - Lead cross-functional global HR projects to help drive and improve company culture, employee engagement, diversity & inclusion, HR processes and procedures.
- Collaborate with primary stakeholders in the HR team – Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, HR Operations, and Organizational Development.
- Work closely with operational functions such as Finance, Accounting, IT, Legal and Compliance to ensure meeting labor laws and regulations while providing HR guidance.
- Maintain knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance while providing HR policy guidance.
- Implement HR projects and ensure that local activities are aligned with the global HR strategy.
What will you need to have?
- A Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in a relevant discipline.
- 10+ years of experience in HR leadership positions in global tech companies, preferably late-stage, pre-IPO companies.
- Strong track record of developing effective and consultative relationships across all levels of an organization, including the executive level.
- Experience supporting technical departments, including Product and engineering.
- Demonstrated competence and hands-on abilities in various HR functional areas: employee relations, compensation & benefits, performance management, career development, etc.
- Experience with labor law and compliance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Hebrew and English (part of the interviews will be conducted in English).
