Business & Marketing Operations is a critical team within marketing that is responsible for marketing technology, campaign operations, analytics, fiscal oversight, and lifecycle process optimization.

This role specifically reports to the Director of Business & Marketing Operations and will own the campaign execution strategy for the marketing team, overseeing all campaign operations. You will partner closely with our demand generation, events, and lifecycle marketing teams to coordinate and improve our audience definitions, campaign execution process, database activation, and email engagement rates.

You will ideally be strong in communication, project management, email experimentation, and building comprehensive solutions in Marketo. Having a marketing operations, lifecycle marketing, or demand generation background will help you be more successful in this role.

What you’ll do: 

  • Oversee campaign operations for the global marketing team with support from an external agency.
  • Take ownership of all the responsibilities surrounding the operations of email marketing, including but not limited to program templates, email templates, request intake processes, campaign execution process, and stakeholder management.
  • Partner with marketing team members to build, activate, and optimize demand generation campaigns.
  • Partner with lifecycle marketers to build and optimize use case and persona-based nurture programs.
  • Improve database integrity and segmentations, and ensure campaign audiences and targets match business needs and objectives.
  • Build and champion an A/B testing culture within marketing.
  • Document key campaign execution processes as they develop and evolve.
  • Help ramp up, train, and support marketing team members around the globe.

What will you need to have? 

  • 4+ years of experience in a marketing automation, lifecycle marketing, or marketing operations role, ideally at B2B companies. Experience managing an external agency is a big plus.
  • Currently Marketo certified. Marketo Champion status is a bonus.
  • Strong collaborator with excellent interpersonal skills to be able to connect and communicate with a range of people.
  • Demonstrated leadership in leveraging experimentation to improve execution and contribute to company growth.
  • Data-driven and able to easily tell stories from numbers in presentations.
  • Have a creative and curious mind, with a desire to hit the ground running.
  • Excellent attention to detail and project management skills
