Redis Labs Announces RedisConf 2016

Introduces new initiatives to foster Redis community collaboration

Mountain View, February 25, 2016—Redis, the home of Redis, today announced that RedisConf 2016 will take place on May 10th and 11th at the Mission Bay Conference Center in San Francisco. The conference, organized by Redis, will highlight the breadth of use cases and usage of Redis in organizations of all sizes globally. RedisConf 2016 is a celebration of the flourishing Redis user and developer community.

Salvatore Sanfilippo, the creator of Redis, who leads open source Redis development at Redis will provide the opening keynote. Additional keynote speakers include Yiftach Shoolman, co-founder and CTO of Redis; Bill Anderson, Redis mad scientist from Rackspace; and other industry luminaries  including Adrian Colyer, former CTO of Spring Source & former CTO of applications at VMware, Laura Merling, former VP & GM of IoT at SAP and Chris Richardson, the original creator of Cloud Foundry.  Call for papers and registration is now open.  Register today at https://www.redisconference.com/.

RedisConf is the largest gathering of Redis users and experts that fosters collaboration and networking among the Redis community. The conference offers an opportunity to:

Redis recently sponsored Koding.com’s virtual hackathon which gave away over $100,000 in prizes as well as the DeveloperWeek hackathon in San Francisco.  Upcoming Redis meetups include Redis Day in Tel Aviv on Mar 9, 2016, featuring Salvatore Sanfilipo and several key Redis contributors. Additional Redis meetups are planned for San Francisco, Los Angeles, Austin, Atlanta and New York City. Redis also organized the first ever Open Container Night at Container World with over 400 registrants.
