The latest release of OSS Redis, version 6.2, is the first major release by the project’s community. It demonstrates a paradigm shift in Redis’ development by making it more open to a wider audience. The release is also an attempt to catch up with feedback and requirements raised by users in the community, and as such it packs quite a lot of useful additions.
In this session, we take you through the evolution of the Redis project governance and its core team, explore some of the new and modified commands in Redis 6.2, as well as touch on some of the principles that guided its development.
