The team is building the next-generation, high-performance key-value storage engine as part of the Redis product.
What you’ll do:
- Work closely with the product team to build and clarify the roadmap and help define the requirements of the upcoming features and performance KPIs
- Full responsibility and hands-on work on the development lifecycle, including designs, development, code reviews, testing, and deployment/production aspects, GitHub admin, etc.
- Leading a team of 5 talented developers
- Become a leading expert in Rocksdb Speedb codebase
- Oversee code quality and standards
- Establish group and individual objectives, provide regular, constructive feedback and increase employee engagement, staff development, training, and mentoring
- Create a positive team environment and a strong DNA
What will you need to have?
- B.Sc. in Computer Science/Software Engineering/other relevant fields in a leading university or equivalent impressive work experience
- 5+ years of proven track record of leading R&D teams
- 6+ years of experience as a C++ Software developer
- Proven ability to hire, retain and grow top industry talent
- Good technical skills with a deep understanding of the development lifecycle, methodologies & best practices
- strong business and technical vision
- Ability to execute end-to-end from design to implementation
- Strong English – Write, Read and Speak
