The team is building the next-generation, high-performance key-value storage engine as part of the Redis product.

What you’ll do: 

  • Work closely with the product team to build and clarify the roadmap and help define the requirements of the upcoming features and performance KPIs
  • Full responsibility and hands-on work on the development lifecycle, including designs, development, code reviews, testing, and deployment/production aspects, GitHub admin, etc.
  • Leading a team of 5 talented developers
  • Become a leading expert in Rocksdb Speedb codebase
  • Oversee code quality and standards
  • Establish group and individual objectives, provide regular, constructive feedback and increase employee engagement, staff development, training, and mentoring
  • Create a positive team environment and a strong DNA

What will you need to have? 

  • B.Sc. in Computer Science/Software Engineering/other relevant fields in a leading university or equivalent impressive work experience
  • 5+ years of proven track record of leading R&D teams
  • 6+ years of experience as a C++ Software developer
  • Proven ability to hire, retain and grow top industry talent
  • Good technical skills with a deep understanding of the development lifecycle, methodologies & best practices
  • strong business and technical vision
  • Ability to execute end-to-end from design to implementation
  • Strong English – Write, Read and Speak
