Session 1: The latest and greatest of Redis Enterprise

Sean Noyes, Senior Cloud Solutions Architect from Redis Inc, and Shreya Verma, Product Manager for Redis Inc, will provide an overview of Redis features available in Azure Cache for Redis Enterprise tiers. In this session, our speakers will cover:

• Use cases, caching patterns and unique architecture of Azure Cache for Redis Enterprise
• Extended data types (modules) available for Azure Cache for Redis Enterprise including the implementation of Redis Enterprise as a database suitable Vector Similarity Search (VSS).
• Demo of scale up and out features that enable increased loads and ensure optimal performance 
• Demo of customer-managed keys, which offer greater control over the security of data at rest
• Azure function triggers for automation that saves time and improves efficiency
• Other exciting features on the roadmap for Azure Cache for Redis Enterprise!

Session 2: Hands-on with Redis Enterprise: 

Advanced Data Structures and Modules 

1 PM – 3 PM

Level: 300

Redis Solutions Architect, Owen Taylor, will lead this hands-on session. Attendees who bring a laptop will connect to a Redis Enterprise instance running in Azure and experience the power and flexibility of these key data structures and advanced modules: Streams, Search, JSON, Bloom, and TimeSeries.  Attendees will follow along and execute interesting commands and queries and experience for themselves the advanced capabilities of Redis Enterprise.

During this hands-on exercise, attendees will work through a guided lab that covers:

• Core Data Types of Redis
• Streams Validation
• Full Text Search and Aggregation
• Leveraging the JSON Datatype
• Deduping Coupons With Cuckoo Filters
• Tracking Ticket Sales with Time Series
